CASE STUDY
When the owner of this 2015 Lexus RX450H was left stranded after the vehicle displayed a high voltage warning and refused to enter “ready mode” they recovered the car to the main dealer to inspect. After an inspection they were presented with a quote for 5 figures!! This is when they contacted Sumner Auto Electrics for a second opinion. Conducting our through initial inspection we identified heavy water ingress into the high voltage battery pack causing heavy corrosion to the bus bars and damaging many of the cells. Fortunately, we can split the battery pack and were able to source cells and all components necessary to return the Lexus to full health for a fifth of the quoted price!
